NEW DELHI — The Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (MDoNER), alongside its affiliated organizations, has announced the rollout of Special Campaign 6.0. Aligned with directives from the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG), the initiative aims to embed cleanliness into daily operational practices while streamlining administrative workflows.
Campaign Objectives & Scope
Scheduled to run from October 5 to October 15, 2026, Special Campaign 6.0 focuses on transforming Swachhata into a sustained habit across all ministry facilities. Key focus areas during the 10-day drive include:
Workplace Sanitation: Conducting cleanliness drives across office spaces, corridors, staircases, and surrounding areas.
Clean Desk & Office Space Optimization: Promoting organized workspaces, identifying obsolete/damaged furniture, and freeing up floor space.
Record & E-File Management: Reviewing, weeding out, and closing old physical files and eligible e-files.
Scrap & E-Waste Disposal: Segregating and disposing of unserviceable equipment and electronic waste per standard procedures.
Pendency Reduction: Resolving pending public grievances, references, and administrative cases in a time-bound manner.
Building on Past Success
The initiative builds on the momentum of Special Campaign 5.0, which concluded on October 31, 2025. That drive yielded notable operational outcomes:
Conducted 36 cleanliness drives.
Reclaimed 3,664 sq. ft. of office space.
Resolved 46 public grievances and 3 VIP references.
Reviewed and weeded out 217 physical files and 32 e-files.
Generated ₹7,82,814 in revenue through scrap disposal.
By combining institutional cleanliness with systematic file and grievance management, MDoNER aims to foster an efficient, organized, and environmentally responsible workplace environment.
