Agartala, September 9: The Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) has officially notified the schedule for the upcoming Departmental Examination for IAS & TCS (Grade-II) and IPS & TPS (Grade-II) officers serving under the Government of Tripura. The examinations are set to commence on December 8, 2026.
According to the official notification issued by TPSC Under Secretary A. Bhattacharjee, the portal for online applications will open on September 14, 2026, and close on October 4, 2026 (at 5:30 PM).
Key Application Guidelines:

Online Portal: Applications must be submitted exclusively through the TPSC portal at
tpsc.tripura.gov.in. No physical hard copies will be accepted. -
OTPR Requirement: Officers must register via One Time Profile Registration (OTPR) on the official website to obtain a User ID before submitting their form.

Application Fee: An examination fee of ₹350 must be paid online, which is non-refundable.

Government Vetting: Following the closing date, the TPSC will forward the complete applicant list to the GA (P&T) Department, Government of Tripura, for departmental vetting. Candidates will be allowed to sit for the test only after receiving permission from the GA (P&T) Department.
Syllabus & Paper Breakdown:

IAS & TCS Officers: Covers 9 papers, including Criminal Law, Revenue Law, Civil Law, Central Laws, Accounts (With/Without Books), Bengali translation/dictation, Hindi conversation, and Security & Disaster Management.

IPS & TPS Officers: Covers 7 papers, including Law Parts I & II, Accounts Parts I & II, Criminology, Bengali, and Hindi conversation.
Candidates must clear all parts within a given paper to be declared as passed in that subject. Admit cards and the finalized candidate list will be uploaded to the official website in due course.
